Who catches Jayden's passes?

A force-directed network of every completed pass in the 2026 regular season. Jayden Daniels sits in the middle. Each line runs to a player he has completed a pass to, and each of those players links out to any other passer who has completed one to them too.

Season to date, through Week 6 (in progress, 1 of 14 games in)

How to read it

Size means volume.

The bigger the circle and the thicker the line, the more completions run through that connection.

Receivers are sized by completions from the center QB. Lines from a receiver to another passer show how many times that passer completed one to the same player, whether it was a backup stepping in, a trick play, or a QB from a team the receiver played for earlier in the season.

The graph is live physics: grab any player and the rest of the network pulls along with it. Use the menu to put a different quarterback in the middle.

Beyond football

Why this matters at work.

No company cares who catches Jayden's passes. Swap the labels, though, and the same picture answers real business questions.

Center node

The focal entity: a person, product, vendor, account, or table.

Lines

Interactions, weighted by volume. Thicker means more.

Second-degree links

Shared connections: who else touches the same things.

01

Collaboration networks

Who works with whom. Surfaces hidden connectors, siloed teams, and key-person risk when one name sits in the middle of everything.

02

Customers and products

A product in the center, its buyers around it, and the other products those buyers picked up. Cross-sell ideas fall out of the shared links.

03

Vendors and supply chain

A supplier, the sites it serves, and the other suppliers serving those sites. Shows concentration risk, and whether a backup already exists.

04

Data lineage

A source table, every report and dashboard that reads from it, and what else those depend on. You see a change's full impact before it ships. In BI, this is the one I'd reach for first.

05

Fraud and risk

An account or claim linked to the devices, phone numbers, or addresses it shares with others. Rings that look unrelated in a table show up as tight clusters.

06

Referrals and communication

Who refers to whom, who messages whom, and where requests actually route compared with where the org chart says they should.

What you learn from the shape

Hubs
Big, well-connected nodes. Seven receivers, led by Stefon Diggs and Antonio Williams, caught passes from three different Commanders passers. At work, it's the person or system everything runs through.
Bridges
Nodes that reach the same people as the center. Marcus Mariota reached 11 of Jayden's 13 receivers, and Athan Kaliakmanis reached seven, like a team where work routes through a backup when the key person is out. Better to see that before you need it.
Clusters
Tight groups that mostly connect to each other: a team, a product family, a fraud ring.
Outliers
Small nodes hanging by a single thin line, like Ben Sinnott, a TE with one catch from Jayden. Four of his receivers have just one. At work, that's the one-off vendor or the report nobody else uses, worth a cleanup or a closer look.
